The Man With The Keys To History Of The Vatican

National Geographic, Gulnaz Khan

“Yes, I’m a key keeper, head key keeper, but I’m still a doorman that opens a museum,” says Crea, a devout Catholic. “But I open the doors to the history of art and the history of Christianity—and it’s the biggest and most beautiful history that exists in the world.”

Has to be amazing to open the Sistine Chapel every morning, and be able to open every room in the Vatican and see history. But so many keys, love how they still use the old keys and not modern keys.

Love the photos in the post.
